Neal Wilkes can not go to a site, read a magazine or even drive down the street,
without seeing fonts, kerning, white space, code or grids. Basically his entire life is inundated with design. Neal couldn't turn off his designer's eye even if he wanted too.

He knew at a young age that visual communication was his calling. Downloading his
first layout program from a local BBS on dial-up and creating a school newspaper
for his fifth grade class, he was hooked.
